Adjunct Instructor, Physical Science at Palm Beach State College

Instruct college students in accordance with educational theories and techniques. Develop discipline-related curricula, assess student learning, participate in program evaluation and college activities. Maintain college and department standards in support of the College's mission and strategic plan.

• Instruct college-level Physical Science courses as assigned.
• Develop and update discipline-related curricula and instructional materials.
• Assess student learning outcomes and participate in program evaluation.
• Engage in college activities and uphold standards aligned with PBSC’s mission.
• Adapt instruction to diverse student needs and use technology effectively in the classroom.

Master’s degree in Earth Science, Geology, Oceanography, Meteorology, Physics, Physical Science, Astronomy, or Geoscience; or a Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in one of these fields.

• Ability to demonstrate the use of technology in the classroom.
• Must be able to use the technology required for the assigned course.
• Coursework within the degree must reflect competencies in the courses to be taught.
