Adjunct Instructor, Music Violin/Strings at Palm Beach State College. This posting is for an adjunct teaching position in violin/strings. This is an open continuous applicant pool. Responsibilities- Instruct college students in accordance with educational theories and techniques.
- Develop discipline-related curricula, assess student learning, participate in program evaluation, and college activities.
- Maintain college and department standards in support of the College's mission and strategic plan.
- Work schedule varies according to teaching assignment.
- Master’s degree in Music or Master’s degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Music MUS, MVB, MVJ, MVK, MVP, MVS, MVV, MVW, or Professional Experience of 10+ years in the music industry.
- Demonstrated professional performing skills and the ability to teach lessons on an instrument (including musical style) specified by the course designated, i.e. MVJ/Jazz, MVK/Keyboard, MVB/Brass, or MVS/String.
- Applications without attached copies of official transcripts or non-web-based unofficial transcripts will not be considered. Transcripts for adjunct positions must either be an official copy of a college-stamped student copy or a non-web-based unofficial transcript, scanned into an electronic format and attached to their application. Transcripts produced through web-based student systems will not be accepted.
