• Educational Background:
  Must meet state-specific guidelines; high school diploma/GED required; ECE coursework preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience:
  
  Extended experience in a childcare setting with a history of classroom leadership roles; deep-rooted passion for early childhood education essential.
• State Compliance:
  Meet state and federal requirements including immunizations, employment physicals, and required health and safety training.

• Proven judgment to identify and address potential risks in a childcare setting.
• Ensure children are safe and daily needs met, including diapering, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Model and encourage strong communication and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Keep children active, engaged, and involved in developmentally appropriate activities.
• Exhibit composure, patience, and professionalism at all times.

• Demonstrate full range of motion: stand and walk for extended periods without discomfort.
• Lift and carry objects up to 40 pounds safely.
• Reach, stretch, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed.
• Use a stool or ladder to access high places when required.
• Ability to supervise by sight and sound.
• Work outdoors during portions of the day in temperatures ranging from 20°F (wind chill) to 95°F.
• Maintain mental and physical alertness and consistent energy level to meet essential job functions.
