Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Activities Assistant to join our team at Terraces of Lake Worth Care Center, a premier skilled nursing center located in Lake Worth, Florida. As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a vibrant and engaging community for our residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well‑being. This is a part‑time position, offering flexible weekend hours.

• Plan and implement activities that promote socialization, recreation, and fulfillment among residents, including arts and crafts, games, exercise programs, and entertainment events
• Develop and maintain relationships with residents, ensuring their needs and preferences are met
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify and address resident care needs and concerns
• Conduct assessments to identify resident interests and abilities, and develop individualized activity plans
• Maintain accurate records and reports of activities, including participation rates and resident feedback
• Assist with resident transportation to off‑site activities and appointments
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices and industry trends

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• CNA license
• 1 year of experience in the senior care industry or related field
• Ability to work flexible weekend schedules
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
