R-Hematology Oncology Associates was established in Palm Beach County over 35 years ago, and has grown to include 10 Board Certified Hematologist and Oncologists and 6 Nurse Practitioners in 3 convenient locations within our community. Our goals are to provide state of the art cancer treatments with a high level of compassionate care in a warm inviting environment. We also specialize in treatment of coagulation blood disorders, leukemias and other hematologic benign conditions.

* Job Description:

*** Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, and other IV infusions following established protocols.
* Monitor patients during and after treatments for adverse reactions or side effects and take appropriate action when necessary.
* Provide patient education on medications, treatment plans, side effects, and self-care strategies.
* Perform patient assessments and vital sign monitoring before, during, and after treatments.
* Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other staff to develop and adjust individualized care plans.
* Coordinate scheduling for treatments, follow-ups, and lab work.
* Manage electronic medical records (EMR), ensuring accurate documentation of all treatments, assessments, and interactions.
* Assist with procedures such as bone marrow biopsies, port flushes, and central line care.
* Support patients and families emotionally through all phases of treatment.
* Travels to satellite locations and floats to other offices as needed.
