TheOpportunity
The Service Leader is responsible for maintaining a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served; and that the restaurant crew is well trained and provides good customer service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining a clean, organized line with properly functioning line equipment.
- Working while clocked in; evaluating other tasks during downtime and assisting others.
- Ensuring food safety by hand washing, glove changes, monitoring temperature, shelf lives and daily food safety checklists.
- Resolving food quality issues and customer incidents to ensure positive experiences.
- Managing crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules.
- Cross‑training front‑of‑house crew and developing future Service Leaders.
- Assisting with crew performance reviews and miscellaneous office administration duties such as banking, cash handling, and paperwork.
- Keeping office equipment operational and ordering supplies as needed.
- Make sure great‑tasting, high‑quality food is served.
- Help resolve food quality issues.
- Support food safety initiatives.
- Handle customer incidents and ensure positive experiences.
- Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules.
- Develop and cross‑train all front‑of‑house crew.
- Assist with crew performance reviews.
- Develop future Service Leaders.
- Assist with miscellaneous office administration duties such as banking, cash handling policies, and office paperwork.
- Ensure office equipment remains in working order and inventory supplies are ordered as needed.
- Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
- Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of food safety and health department matters.
- Familiarity with office paperwork.
- Language proficiency in the primary languages of the work location.
- High school diploma.
- Restaurant experience.
