All about On-Demand:
You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand Team Member (TM). Your schedule may vary based on shift availability and store needs. The role is ideal for a personalized work schedule.
As an On-Demand TM, you will not be on the posted weekly schedule but can pick up shifts via the myTime app. Attendance is essential, including responding to contact attempts. You must work at least one shift every 5 months or your employment may be terminated.
Upon offer, you will attend Target Welcome orientation and commit to a short-term training schedule. Afterward, use the myTime app to pick shifts.
Responsibilities- Demonstrate a service culture prioritizing the guest service experience and deliver the service standard.
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with daily tasks.
- Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs and be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the store.
- Be familiar with Target Loyalty programs and fulfillments services; guide guests to enroll and use them.
- Explain how to use Wallet and other Target App features.
- Handle returns following policies; escalate to leaders when needed.
- Deliver fast, accurate service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies during store hours.
- Support cash office processes as needed and maintain compliance with safety policies.
- Engage in de-escalation when necessary and support guest services across channels.
- All other duties based on business needs.
- Enjoy interacting with guests and helping others.
- Thrive in a fast-moving, active and physically demanding environment; teamwork, flexibility, and problem solving are key.
- Open to flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times.
- Strong training will be provided; candidates should have effective communication, adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task.
- Ability to operate handheld scanners and technology equipment; work independently or in a team.
- Cash handling and basic cash office support as needed.
- Ability to scan, handle, and move merchandise, with lifting requirements up to 44 pounds with/without assistance.
- Active engagement in picking up and working shifts; must work at least one shift within 5 months or administrative termination.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments (Drive-Up, carryout, etc.).
- Maintain mobility for the duration of a shift.
