Overview

Full-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our Team. $10.00 to $14.00 per hour. We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process.

Our retail sales associates can earn UP TO 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $1.85 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The role greets, engages, and interacts with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions. The associate works with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and more.

The Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. Pay varies by location, qualifications, and experience.

• Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non-management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handles cash and negotiable items per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Effectively communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers; fosters a positive team environment.
• Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
• Completes required training and performs other duties as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to stand, walk, and perform duties for extended periods; physical requirements in accordance with law.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified (where applicable).
• Ability to work at exterior locations or retrieve products stored in exterior areas as needed.
• Minimum Age: 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to serve customers, be team-oriented, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math proficiency; cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work at multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate; able to operate POS systems and office machines.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on personal gross profit. More details are provided during the interview process.
