Job Overview

Dental Hygienist at Heartland Dental – 103 Roman Ln, Hawthorn Woods, IL 60047.

Full‑time position (minimum 30 hrs/wk) with bi‑weekly hourly pay, ability to opt into daily pay, quarterly bonuses, CE coverage, and a $7,500 welcome bonus.

Monday through Friday.

You’ll be a key part of the patient‑care team, providing outstanding patient care, clinical autonomy, and support from a higiene mentor program. You’ll invest in the community while enjoying a schedule that supports work‑life balance.

• Current dental hygienist license in IL and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required).
• Excellent knowledge of dentistry, hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
• CPR certification.

• Open to new graduates or seasoned hygienists.
• Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x‑rays, and electronic medical record systems.
• Desire to continue learning and improve clinical skills.
• Ability to meet clinical needs as required by the office.

• Ability to perform essential duties with reasonable accommodation where needed.
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing.
• Must lift and carry up to 45 pounds occasionally.
• Availability for virtual or in‑person training sessions periodically.
• TB test required for all new hires in dental office positions (except FL & TN); completed during pre‑employment.
