Inventory Clerk

• Verify, inspect, and document all incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy against purchase orders and invoices.
• Identify and document discrepancies such as shortages, overages, and damaged materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Receive and stock inventory in designated bay locations.
• Communicate shipment status and inventory updates with internal teams.
• Organize staging areas and assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Prepare shipping documentation as required.
• Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory methods.

• Basic computer skills, including Email, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Warehouse Management Systems (training available).
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
• Familiarity with freight documents such as Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing slips, and invoices.
• Basic understanding of inventory control and warehouse safety practices.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
• Forklift certification preferred
• The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.
