Asc, Accountant – Lockheed Martin

Lockheed Martin Global Financial Services (GFS) Financial Accounting Services is responsible for providing Billing and Fixed Assets management services to various Lockheed Martin business area partners. This position’s primary responsibility is to provide billing support.

• Assist with billings, ensuring timely and accurate billings.
• Resolve billing problems and maintain appropriate invoicing controls.
• Communicate with customers to ensure consistent, timely cash flow.
• Analyze and troubleshoot related accounting issues and transactions.
• Assist with contract analysis and reconciliation to support continuous process improvement.
• Work effectively both independently and within a diverse team environment.

• Billing experience
• Customer service experience in a fast‑paced environment
• Intermediate to advanced Excel (pivot tables and functions) experience
• Experience with SAP, S4‑Hana, and/or SAP Fiori
• Experience performing accounting journal transaction posting and related impacts
• Analytical and evaluation skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform multiple tasks
• User level proficiency with Financial Accounting software and systems
• Intermediate level proficiency using Microsoft Excel
• Ability to maintain required financial controls and support audits as necessary
• Ability to comprehend and perform to defined procedures and processes
• Accountability and professionalism in all interactions
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Full‑time Remote Telework:
The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
