Your estimates will directly influence which projects move forward and how they are executed, with clear visibility from bid stage to steel in the air. As a newly created role, you’ll have genuine ownership, autonomy, and the opportunity to shape how erection estimating evolves as the company grows.
🔍 What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day- You’ll take ownership of erection estimating from bid review through submission.
- Producing 1-2 erection estimates per day (with higher-volume bid days at times)
- Reviewing drawings and specifications using Bluebeam Revu
- Building labor, equipment, and schedule pricing for erection scopes
- Working independently while collaborating with fabrication, project management, and leadership teams
- Supporting pursuit strategy on large commercial and data centre projects
- You’ll report directly to the Estimating Manager and operate in a low-micromanagement environment.
Essential
- 2-5 years of experience estimating steel erection scopes
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Bluebeam Revu
- Office-based availability
- Clear communication and solid stakeholder skills
Preferred
- Exposure to miscellaneous metals (fabrication and/or installation)
- Construction-related degree
- Bilingual Spanish (compensation uplift available)
- Self-directed and comfortable working autonomously
- Detail-oriented with commercial awareness
- Thrives in a medium-sized, fast-growing business
