Worship Pastor Fuel Church Overview

Fuel Church is seeking a passionate and dedicated Worship Pastor to lead our congregation in meaningful worship experiences. The Worship Pastor will be responsible for directing and overseeing all aspects of our worship ministry, creative, and technical production ensuring that our services are designed to help others find and grow in a relationship with Christ. This role requires strong leadership skills, musical talent, and a heart for worship.

• Worship Leadership:
  Lead and coordinate worship services (youth and adult), ensuring that music and other elements are spiritually engaging, Christ focused and aligned with Fuel Church's mission, vision, and culture.
• Creative Team:
  Lead a team of volunteers to provide creative elements including announcement visuals, online/app media, facility décor, elements in worship.
• Production Team:
  Lead a team of volunteers to provide support for live and broadcast services along with other church events. This includes all aspects of audio, video, and other technical elements needed to execute services and events with excellence.
• Team Development:
  Recruit, train, and mentor team members, including musicians, vocalists, technical support, and creative team volunteers.
• Youth Worship:
  Lead, coordinate, and mentor the youth worship band. This includes preparing worship sets, practice sessions, and leading worship when needed.
• Service Planning:
  Collaborate with the pastoral team to plan and execute worship services, special events, and seasonal programs. Utilize and maintain the Planning Center Services App to facilitate coverage and order of service.
• Music Selection:
  Choose appropriate songs and arrangements that enhance the worship experience and resonate with the congregation.
• Technical Oversight:
  Oversee the use of audio, visual, and lighting equipment to ensure high-quality production during services.
• Spiritual Guidance:
  Provide spiritual leadership and support to worship team members and the congregation, fostering a culture of worship and prayer.
• Administrative Duties:
  Manage the worship ministry budget, schedule rehearsals, PCO, and maintain an organized music library.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in music, Worship Arts, Theology, or a related field preferred.
• Experience:
  
  Proven experience in leading worship in a church setting, with strong musical, instrumental and vocal skills. Minimum 5 years of experience.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Knowledge of audio, visual, lighting, and broadcast equipment, as well as proficiency in worship software and tools.
• Leadership:
  Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop a team of volunteers and staff.
• Spiritual Maturity: A deep personal faith in Jesus Christ and a commitment to the mission and values of Fuel Church.
• Interpersonal
  
  Skills:
  
  Excellent communication and relational skills, with the ability to connect with a diverse congregation.

The Worship Pastor will work a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends to accommodate activities and events. This position requires a combination of office hours and active participation in ministry programs.
