We're looking for a Interior Designer to join our team in Lakeland, FL.
DescriptionGrace Design Studios is seeking a talented and motivated Interior Designer to join our growing team. As part of a collaborative and creative studio, you’ll contribute to the design and execution of interior environments that inspire and perform. Our firm values innovation, mentorship, and teamwork—providing opportunities for emerging designers to develop their technical and creative skills while working on meaningful projects across diverse market sectors.
Responsibilities- Contribute to the development of interior design concepts, space planning, and material selections under the direction of senior designers.
- Assist in preparing design presentations, renderings, and documentation that clearly communicate design intent.
- Support the production of drawings and specifications for interior architecture, finishes, furniture, and fixtures.
- Participate in programming, schematic design, and design development phases, incorporating feedback from team members and clients.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure design integration and consistency across project disciplines.
- Conduct product and materials research, evaluate finishes, and assist in developing furniture and equipment plans.
- Participate in site visits and construction administration activities to observe progress and verify design implementation.
- Collaborate on the preparation of FF&E packages, cost estimates, and project documentation.
- Support marketing and proposal efforts by assisting with graphics, presentations, and visual materials.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from an accredited program required.
- NCIDQ certification preferred or in progress.
- 3+ years of professional interior design experience.
- Proficiency in Revit required; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office preferred.
- Strong design sensibility, technical ability, and attention to detail across all project phases.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- Self-motivated and eager to grow through mentorship and hands‑on project experience.
