Orlando Health Lakeland Highlands Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and visionary ICU Medical Director with board certification in Neurocritical Care to lead our multidisciplinary critical care team. This role is responsible for the strategic, clinical, and operational leadership of our ICU. The Director will oversee clinical quality, staff development, protocol implementation, and interdisciplinary collaboration, ensuring excellence in patient outcomes, research, and education.

- Graduate of an ACGME accredited training program
- Must be Board Certified in Neurocritical Care
- Minimum 5 years of experience in critical care as an intensivist.
- Demonstrated success in ICU administration, team leadership, and program development.
- 14 12-hour shifts per month, split between days and nights
- Must have or must be able to obtain Florida Medical License

The Orlando Health Medical Group Critical Care Medicine team has grown to 28 Intensivists and 30 Advanced Practice Providers, providing 24/7 adult critical care medicine coverage at 10 Orlando Health hospitals. Our Intensivist team includes a strong mixture of Internal Medicine/Critical Care Medicine, Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine, Emergency Medicine/Critical Care Medicine, Anesthesia/Critical Care Medicine, and Surgery/Critical Care Medicine trained providers. We have growing subspeciality critical care medicine service lines, including neurocritical care, comprehensive cardiovascular critical care, obstetrical critical care, and advanced medical/surgical critical care medicine.
The Intensivist team at our main hospital, Orlando Regional Medical Center, serve as core faculty for the ACGME‑accredited Internal Medicine residency program, as well as Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine fellowships.
As an integrated healthcare system, Orlando Health has joined forces with the nationally respected, physician‑led practice of Watson Clinic to bring exceptional health‑care to the communities of Polk County and the surrounding region. The combined strengths of this collaboration will be showcased with the summer 2026 opening of the Orlando Health Watson Clinic Lakeland Highlands Hospital.
