Job title:Special Ed Paraprofessional – Afton-Lakeland Elementary

Job Summary:Special Education Paraprofessional will provide instructional and behavioral support for students with special needs. Transferring/lifting of students may be required. Preferred candidate will have experience working with special needs students.

Requirements:In order to work as a Special Education Paraprofessional, you must meet the state requirement of being Highly Qualifed prior to your start date. To be considered Highly Qualifed, you must have
ONE of the following; a Bachelor’s Degree or an Associates Degree, or 60+ hours of post-secondary education, or a Passing Score on the Para Pro Exam.

Please be prepared to submit documentation in support of your qualifications. (Acceptable documentation includes transcripts from the college or a copy of the Para Pro Exam report.)

Start Date: ASAP (temporary position through May 11, 2026). Not benefit eligible
