Description

Founded in 1998 in Tampa by obstetrics and gynecology physicians, Women's Care has expanded to over 100 locations across multiple states, committed to improving patient health and lives daily.

The Sonographer performs ultrasound examinations and records findings, including routine and specialized procedures as directed.

  • Performs nuchal translucency scans following established standards.
  • Completes fetal surveys.
  • Performs hysterosonograms and 3D-4D scans.
  • Evaluates image quality and interprets captured data.
  • Documents and updates patient records electronically.
  • Maintains professional conduct and courteous interactions with all customers.
  • Attends meetings and participates in team and professional development activities.
  • Upholds Women's Care mission and core values.
  • Ensures compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid OB/GYN ARDMS certification.
  • Valid Nuchal Translucency certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
  • At least 2 years of recent OBGYN ultrasound experience.
  • Experience with 3D-4D scans.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and bedside manner.
  • Ability to multitask under stress and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills with colleagues and patients.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records; eCW experience is a plus.
  • Dependable, reliable, and punctual.
