• Provides effective leadership and direction for hospital-based Emergency Medical Services program while utilizing effective management principles.
• Supports the Director of Emergency Medical Services in financial planning, recruitment, hiring, training, promotion, and discipline of staff.
• Develops goals and objectives, analyzes records and data, and creates effective staffing strategies for assigned shifts.
• Manages standard operating procedures and quality performance improvement initiatives to ensure effective service provision.
• Represents the department at hospital leadership functions, community functions, meetings, and activities that promote the department's and facility's mission.

• High School Grad or Equiv (Required)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
• Driver's License (DL) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
• EMT Certification Basic (EMTB) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
• Tactical Paramedic - Certified (TP-C) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
