Description
Radiation Therapist responsible for operating radiation therapy equipment, maintaining quality control, and delivering treatment courses. Serves as a resource to physicians and collaborates with department team.
Essential Functions- Maintain a thorough working knowledge of equipment operation.
- Maintain proper quality control of machines.
- Observe patients for unusual reactions.
- Deliver treatment courses of radiation therapy.
- Maintain patient treatment charts.
- Use time productively and efficiently.
- Accept and perform any other duties as assigned and attend department meetings.
- Associate in Science degree in radiation therapy.
- Licensed by the state of Florida.
- Completion of an accredited program.
- Current BLS certification or to be completed within three months of employment.
