• Performs high quality echo cardiographic examinations as ordered, obtaining all data necessary for diagnosis.
• Conducts M-mode, Doppler studies, 2-D and Stress, bubble studies, contrast echoes, tissue Doppler, and LA volume assessments.
• Correlates diagnosis to findings and investigates abnormalities.
• Inputs study information and technical findings into Pro Solv accurately.
• Properly maintains equipment and work areas.
• Stocks supplies.
• Compiles data and statistics.
• Participates in weekly Echo Conference.
• Makes copies of studies for conference and records release.
• Keeps current on all trends and changes in the echo field.
• Makes appointments in the absence of the Echo Secretary.

• Successful completion of an accredited Echocardiography program.
• Previous experience with basic and cardiac ultrasound.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a medically related field.
• Must have credentials as either a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS).
• CPR certification within 90 days of employment.
• Preferred:
  Previous experience with vascular ultrasound.
