Summary

A Well Dyne Fill Technician brings creativity and courage to the Pharmacy Fulfillment Operation, as well as compassion to our patients. A Fill Technician ensures patient prescriptions are filled and prepared in an accurate and timely manner.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Responsible for filling and preparing prescription orders in a timely manner.
  • Accountable for stocking and managing the robotic counting machine.
  • Assist with stocking medications when scheduled.
  • Responsible for keeping the pharmacy clean based on a cleaning schedule.
  • Accountable for checking expired drugs on a monthly basis when scheduled.
  • Assist in monthly inventory count.
  • Assist with packing and shipping functions as needed.
  • Respect and maintain confidentiality guidelines of HIPAA.
  • Follow and aid in enforcement of all company policies and procedures.
  • Technicians will be required to assist with inventory when it is assigned.
  • Perform routine, professional pharmacy functions.
  • Responsible for other duties as assigned.
Education And Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Registered with the State of Florida in good standing required.
  • One year minimum of pharmacy experience is strongly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Ability to fill 40 prescriptions per hour.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple activities or interruptions at once.
  • Ability to work in a standing environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, patiently and courteously.
  • Focused team player, who can work in conjunction with pharmacists, other departments, customers, and management.
  • Work independently with little supervision and meet daily deadlines.
  • Ability to perform repetitious work accurately.
Work Environment / Physical Demands

This position is in a typical office environment which requires prolonged sitting and standing in front of a computer. In addition, this position requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment, including the operation of standard computer and phone equipment. This position may require you to work long hours.
