Job Summary
The Field Safety Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the team completes their jobs safely and efficiently in the field. This role requires a highly responsible, responsive, proactive, level‑headed, approachable, and strong communicator with a high level of integrity. The supervisor prioritizes the health and wellbeing of the team while meeting the safety needs of customers.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain current knowledge of OSHA/MSHA regulatory requirements.
- Oversee and ensure safe daily operations in the field.
- Inspect and assess job sites daily to identify hazards, risks, and safety issues.
- Develop effective strategies to mitigate risks as they arise.
- Address all safety concerns by providing educated recommendations.
- Request hazard correction from customer on‑site contractor personnel as needed.
- Coach and train team members in safe operations.
- Conduct training sessions (New Hire Orientation, Annual Refreshers).
- Conduct interviews to investigate on‑the‑job incidents and accidents.
- Provide immediate on‑scene assistance and management during an incident.
- Establish strong relationships with customers’ on‑site personnel.
- Complete daily administrative duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Associate degree in Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Bachelor of Science in Industrial Safety preferred.
- Consideration of 5‑7 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of 2‑5 years of EHS compliance experience, preferably in construction.
- Familiarity with industrial construction activities.
- Knowledge of OSHA/MSHA regulations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self‑starter, detail‑oriented.
- Ability to hold others accountable and coach effectively.
- Strong computer skills (Outlook, Microsoft Office, etc.).

- Daily travel to various client worksites within Central Florida, with 15% travel outside Florida within the US.
- Often harsh elements (hot/humid or cold, rain). Exposure to hazardous chemicals, heavy equipment, and other safety‑sensitive hazards.
- Drug‑free workplace; must pass a post‑offer/pre‑placement drug screen and job‑related physicals.
- Background check required to verify criminal history.
Talk/Hear: Communicate effectively with team members and detect sound variations.
Stand/Sit: Respond quickly to signals.
Walk: Frequent walking within the facility and field.
Use Hands/Fingers: Frequent handling of materials; quick hand/arm movements; precise finger coordination.
Stoop/Kneel/Crouch/Crawl: Routine physical activities requiring arm/leg movement, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, climbing, bending, twisting, or reaching.
See: Visual detail at close and distant range, color discrimination.
Carry, Lift: Lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 50 lbs; support with abdominal/lower back muscles without fatigue.
Considerable time will be spent in processing environments, both indoors and outdoors. Environments can be loud, dusty, hot, or cold.
