Overview

Lead Software Engineer - Real Estate (SAP) at Publix Super Markets. Hybrid position requiring 8 days per month on-site in Lakeland, FL.

Publix Technology supports SAP Finance solutions, including Real Estate (RE-FX) related applications. In this role, you will support design, development, and deployment of new SAP Finance solutions with a focus on real estate applications. You will work with Finance cross-functional project teams to design, develop, and implement SAP applications, gather requirements, translate them into system design and reporting capabilities, configure SAP, test, coordinate integration, support user acceptance testing, and resolve issues during hyper-care.

You will also provide production support for SAP Finance Real Estate and assist with integration between SAP and other systems.

• Participate on cross-functional Finance project teams with an emphasis in Real Estate (RE-FX) to design, develop and implement SAP applications.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into system design and reporting capabilities.
• Design system solutions, write functional specification documents for RICEFW objects, perform functional configurations, unit testing, coordinate integration testing, support UAT, and resolve issues during hyper-care.
• Configure SAP to implement solutions in the Finance area with an emphasis in Real Estate (RE-FX).
• Collaborate with Development and Infrastructure teams to create, maintain and test application functionality to ensure successful implementations.
• Test application functionality and custom SAP programs.
• Assist with resolution of SAP incidents and problems and validate deployment of SAP changes into production.
• Provide production support to the business areas for SAP Finance Real Estate applications and assist with integrations within SAP and interfaces to other systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related analytical field or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• 3+ years of experience with SAP solutions designing and configuring SAP Flexible Real Estate Management (RE-FX) including Contract Management, Balance Sheet Valuation of Contracts with Asset Integration, Integration with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, and the CAM Expense Recovery Add-On
• Experience translating business requirements into functional configuration requirements and designing deliverables
• Experience reading system requirements and working with Agile teams

• 9+ years of experience with SAP S/4
  
  HANA ERP, Finance modules including Assets, A/P/A/R, GL, Controlling, and integration with MM/PM/PC
• 5+ years of business experience involving research and analysis
• Experience with SAP Finance modules: EBS, Concur, and/or Vertex
• Experience with Finance Fiori applications for business users
• Experience with SAP BW and Embedded Analytics in S/4
