Senior Business Systems Analyst – ERP & Manufacturing

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst (ERP & Manufacturing) to help drive how our organization uses its ERP platform, reporting tools, integrations, and business applications across a complex manufacturing environment.

This is a highly visible, hands‑on role that sits at the intersection of business operations and IT. You will partner directly with leaders and stakeholders across Manufacturing, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality, and other functions to understand business needs, improve workflows, and translate operational requirements into effective system solutions.

The ideal candidate brings strong business analysis skills combined with enough technical depth to work directly within an ERP environment.
Experience with Sage X3 is highly preferred.

What You’ll Do

• Lead business process discovery and translate operational needs into ERP configurations, enhancements, reporting, integrations, workflows, and application solutions.
• Serve as a primary liaison between IT and business stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Manufacturing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality, and other functions.
• Evaluate current business processes, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and recommend system or process improvements.
• Partner with users to define requirements, understand downstream impacts, and determine the appropriate technical solution.
• Support and enhance Sage X3
  , EDI, reporting tools, and other integrated business applications.
• Coordinate with outside vendors and technology partners on system issues, enhancements, integrations, and projects.
• Troubleshoot application and process issues and help drive them through resolution.
• Support testing, documentation, implementation, and user adoption of system changes.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior Business Systems Analysts.
• Help prioritize competing requests and business systems initiatives based on operational needs and business impact.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience as a Business Systems Analyst, ERP Analyst, Business Applications Analyst, or similar role.
• Experience supporting ERP systems within a manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, or similarly complex operational environment.
• Sage X3 experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business requirements into practical system solutions.
• Experience with ERP configuration, reporting, workflows, integrations, and/or EDI.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and non‑technical business leaders.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working across several business functions simultaneously.
• Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to other analysts is a plus.
