• Review project assignments/instructions from Team Leader
• Review drawings and job travelers for specific requirements
• Obtain an understanding of the task and develop an action plan
• Tack assembly together per specifications
• Ensure work meets quality standards
• Consistently look for ways to eliminate waste and improve processes
• Practice safety in all aspects of the job
• Look for safety issues with equipment and processes

• A combination of training and strong fabricating experience is required for this position. High School diploma or GED required
• Read and understand Robinson fabrication drawings, blueprints, welding procedures, and shop travelers
• Ability to read weld symbols
• Solid written and verbal communication
• Sense of initiative and proactivity
• Willingness to learn and cross-train in other departments
• Attention to detail
• Ability to accept feedback and adapt to change
• Originality and resourcefulness when setting out solutions
• Fluent in English, working with written and verbal communication. Attend continual education for the welding process
• Must be able to wear a respirator, lift to 50 lbs., wear safety boots, climb a ladder and hear safety alarms
