Equipment Maintenance Technician

Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a General Maintenance Associate. In this role you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the facility, along with its grounds, systems, and related events.

Pay starting at $20 an hour, and could increase depending on experience.

Monday – Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm

• Follow all company mandated safety policies
• Operate powered industrial equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines and Ferguson safe operating procedures
• Observe vital safety precautions for shipping and receiving of rental equipment, purchase equipment, parts & accessories
• Properly package equipment to transport safely to customer sites
• Involvement in equipment repair and rebuilding including electrical, hydraulic and mechanical aspects of Fusion equipment
• Maintain Fusion equipment with frequent fluid changes, filter changes, and replacement of wear and tear parts
• Follow proper check in and check out procedures for rental equipment and accessories
• Troubleshoot fleet for needed repairs and maintenance
• Follow housekeeping policies
• Operate power tools, including grinding, cutting, sanding, drilling, etc.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs

• Prior mechanic experience is preferred but not required; training provided
• Experience in operating, troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic equipment
• Experience in operating, troubleshooting and repairing electrical components
• Ability to lift upwards of 50 lbs
• Experience and ability to work with power industrial tools
• Experience in operation of power industrial trucks / forklifts
• Ability to work in a shop or field environment
• Ability to remain results-focused in a fast-paced, challenging customer service environment
• Ability to thrive in an inclusive environment
• Familiarity with McElroy Fusion equipment is a plus
