Base pay range

$18.00/hr - $25.00/hr

As a Senior Meat Cutter you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the club meets members’ expectations.

What you’ll do
  • Be a Team Member:
    Collaborates with cross‑functional teams, helps educate associates on tools and resources, communicates effectively, develops interpersonal skills for customer service, tracks goods, maintains stock levels, and controls shrinkage.
  • Be an Expert:
    Maintains in‑depth knowledge of meat product types and seasonality, operates equipment and back‑room operations, processes meat according to specifications—cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping—while ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management.
  • Be a Techie:
    Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Uses handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, adapting to new tools and encouraging others to use them.
  • Be an Owner:
    Drives business results, ensures operational excellence, plans for profitability, maintains a compliant work area, ensures quality of high‑volume meat products, eliminates waste, secures fragile and high‑shrink merchandise, assists members with purchasing decisions, and ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored.
  • Be a Talent Ambassador:
    Advocates for the department and club by valuing the member experience in the meat area, models high‑quality service and products, interacts with associates to understand roadblocks, and assists in training them to perform job‑related duties.
  • Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity:
    Implements related action plans, uses the Open Door Policy, and applies them in executing business processes and practices.
  • Completes work assignments and priorities:
    Uses policies, data, and resources, collaborates with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners, identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations, and communicates progress and information. Determines and recommends ways to address improvement opportunities and adapts to and learns from change, difficulties, and feedback.
  • Respect the Individual:
