Commission-Only Security & Low Voltage Solutions Consultant

You will be responsible for full-cycle sales from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and ensuring client satisfaction. This high‑reward, commission‑based role is ideal for a self‑starter who thrives on independence.

Your primary focus is selling our core services:
security camera systems (CCTV), alarm systems, and low‑voltage wiring projects (e.g., data cabling, networking, and audio/video installations).

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospecting & Lead Generation
    :
    Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, referrals, and following up on company‑provided leads.
  • Consultative Sales
    :
    Meet with potential clients (residential and commercial) to assess their needs, conduct site surveys, and provide expert recommendations for customized security and low‑voltage solutions.
  • Proposal Development
    :
    Prepare detailed, accurate, and professional sales proposals and quotes for recommended systems and services.
  • Sales Execution
    :
    Confidently present proposals, negotiate terms, and close sales to meet or exceed established sales targets.
  • Client Relationship Management
    :
    Maintain a strong pipeline and build lasting relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Product Knowledge
    :
    Stay current with the latest security technology, low‑voltage standards, and Rickner Smart Solutions' full range of offerings.
Compensation Structure
  • This is an independent contractor, 1099, commission‑only position.
  • High‑earning potential based entirely on performance and sales volume.
  • A transparent and generous commission structure will be provided upon interview. There is no base salary offered for this role.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Proven sales experience is highly preferred, especially in security, low‑voltage, technology, or a related industry.
  • Must be a highly motivated, results‑driven self‑starter who can manage a sales territory independently.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts related to CCTV, network wiring, and sound systems.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required for client travel.
