Fusion Technician – Lakeland, FL

The Fusion Technician operates in the field, providing on‑call technical support to customers. Responsibilities include installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining products and equipment at customer sites following blueprints, manufacturer instructions, and technical knowledge. The role also involves repairing or coordinating repair of worn or defective products, performing skilled technical work in design, installation, testing, calibration, maintenance, and repair for assigned products or processes.

• Work effectively in a team environment.
• Understand and communicate safety policies; ensure compliance and provide crew safety training.
• Inspect work sites to determine sequencing, method of pipe installation, and identify potential hazards.
• Provide technical solutions and design implementations for products and services.
• Perform routine analysis, calculations, and recommend changes; diagnose and report malfunctions.
• Attend training and complete certification as required.
• Complete required documentation (JSA, vehicle inspections, equipment inspections, etc.).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 1 year of HDPE field experience.
• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with problem‑solving and conflict resolution abilities.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

• Work in a comfortable environment with moderate exposure to dust, fumes, or odors.
• Continuously stand, walk, or regularly lift/handle/carry material or equipment of moderate weight (8–20 pounds).
• Infrequent overnight travel (more than 10% of time).
