Day‑to‑DayResponsibilities
- Perform service, repair, installation, and maintenance on a variety of commercial kitchen equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, electronic, and electrical issues and make repairs to manufacturer specifications
- Coordinate daily schedules with dispatch and communicate delays or changes professionally
- Manage accurate and detailed electronic work orders and documentation using a company‑issued iPad
- Answer customer questions, identify additional service needs, and deliver an exceptional customer experience
- Participate in rotating on‑call shifts for emergency service needs
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory to the highest standards
- Attend ongoing technical training to stay up to date with industry advancements
- Report safety concerns and identify potential new business opportunities
- Support your team and contribute to a culture of service, excellence, and safety
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Industry certifications (a plus)
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage your day effectively
- Comfortable working overtime and participating in on‑call rotations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Positive attitude, high energy, and a commitment to craftsmanship
- Ability to handle physical demands and field conditions
- Safely operate a company vehicle for extended periods
- Lift up to 50 lbs and work with heavy equipment
- Climb ladders and access rooftops comfortably and routinely
- Use hand tools and electronic devices regularly
- Work in tight or elevated spaces, indoors and outdoors
- Handle exposure to weather, electrical equipment, and commercial machinery
- Wear protective equipment (helmet, goggles, boots, etc.)
- Perform regular bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching
