Vogel Bros. Building Co., a fifth-generation family-owned construction company, is seeking a skilled Equipment Operator/Tradesman to join our team in the water and wastewater sector. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and essential to building critical infrastructure that serves our communities.

• Operate and maintain a wide range of heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, dozers, backhoes, forklifts, etc.).
• Perform manual construction tasks when not operating equipment (digging, grading, formwork, concrete work, pipe installation).
• Follow safety procedures, attend safety meetings, and set the standard for safe operations.
• Support your crew by keeping equipment, tools, and work areas clean and maintained.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors to keep projects on track and meet quality standards.

• Experience with construction equipment operations (water/wastewater a plus).
• Strong knowledge of tools, materials, and safe work practices.
• Valid driver’s license required; certifications on equipment preferred.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and perform manual labor outdoors.
• Team player with solid judgment, problem-solving, and time management skills.
