Maintenance 2nd Shift

Job Summary

Will assist in the day-to-day maintenance of property and village residencies, including generators, nurse call systems, air mattresses, health center beds, lifts, computers, and elevators. The position primarily works Monday‑Friday first shift, but must be available for second and third shifts as needed.

Wednesday - Sunday 2nd Shift (3:30 PM - 11:30 PM)

• Comply with all applicable rules, policies, standards, and guidelines related to employment with Westminster Services and its communities.
• Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs under the supervision of the Maintenance Engineer.
• Perform basic mechanical functions with hand tools and power tools; change light bulbs, A/C filters, floor filters, and ceiling tiles.
• Hook up sinks and toilets/urinals.
• Take temperature readings, boiler room readings, and test generator and other equipment & pumps.
• Repair minor leaks less than 1" in diameter.
• Assist as required Maintenance Mechanic/Engineer with major projects.

• High school diploma or GED; 1‑3 years related experience and/or training in carpentry or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
