In this role, you'll partner with cross-functional teams—Accounting, Corporate Purchasing, Enterprise Architecture, SAP, and Data & AI—to design, develop, and scale a next-generation vendor funding platform.

Your expertise will power modern, service-based accounting technology that replaces legacy tools and delivers transformative impact to how Publix manages vendor funding.

Your Impact  Lead the architecture, design, and hands-on development of scalable, service-based solutions, driving technical excellence across the platform. Partner with Product Owners and cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-quality enterprise solutions while influencing key technical and architectural decisions. Provide technical leadership through solution design, code reviews, defect analysis, and mentoring engineers across a hybrid team environment. Guide backlog refinement and development priorities, ensuring alignment with business goals, architectural standards, and long-term platform strategy.

Leverage modern cloud and data technologies, including Azure Databricks, Unity Catalog, and Power BI, to support enterprise analytics and reporting capabilities. Champion engineering best practices, including spec-driven development, AI-assisted software delivery, operational support, and continuous improvement of development standards. #LI-JB1 

Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related analytical field or equivalent experience 7+ years of software engineering experience 5+ years of experience with .NET Core and C# 5+ years of experience with SQL, database design, and the use of ORM frameworks (such as Dapper or Entity Framework) to develop efficient and scalable applications  5+ years of experience analyzing and translating business requirements into technology solutions that consider system performance, usability, quality, cross-system interdependencies, and scalability 3+ years designing and building microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven/distributed systems, including resiliency…
