Position: ROUTE DRIVER (VENDING) (FULL TIME)

ROUTE DRIVER (VENDING) (FULL TIME) – Canteen North America

Location: Lakeland - 3204 Winter Lake Road, Lakeland, FL 33803.

Schedule: Full time Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays.

Pay: $17.50 per hour.

Requirements: 3 years of driving experience and a valid Non‑CDL Class C driver’s license. Prior vending or customer‑service experience is preferred.

Internal employee referral bonus available; commissioning may apply.

Job Summary

The Route Driver operates a company vehicle on a set route, delivering products and maintaining vending equipment. The driver is the face of the company, representing a professional, positive image while building strong client relationships. This role offers clear advancement opportunities into management positions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for vending machines.
  • Perform product rotation to ensure freshness at client locations.
  • Provide client and customer satisfaction in all interactions.
  • Inform regular clients of new products or services, and resolve service complaints.
  • Set up merchandise and sales‑promotion displays or issue promotional materials.
  • Account for all goods receipt, invoices, delivery tickets, and cash.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 3 years driving experience.
  • Valid Non‑CDL Class C license.
  • 1–2 years of customer‑service experience, or at least 1 year of related experience.
  • Proficiency with handheld computer (training provided).
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently.
  • Willingness to operate material‑handling equipment (box truck, handcarts, etc.).
  • Independent, self‑directed; routes unsupervised 98% of the day.
