Warehouse Laborer

Overview

Warehouse Laborer position kly pay, overtime available, open schedule required.

The Warehouse Laborer performs storage, maintenance, packing of materials and order preparation efficiently. Duties may include driving to job sites, operating machinery and ensuring compliance with regulations, company policies and safety guidelines.

• Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders
• Pull materials and place in delivery area; assist with deliveries as needed
• Maintain inventory controls
• Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
• Maintain quality service by following organization standards
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintain a clean shipping supply area; comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Complete daily paperwork as required by supervisor
• Re‑build lights by changing batteries, installing new batteries and light repairs
• General warehouse clean up – sweeping, organizing, etc.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Perform all other duties as assigned

• Forklift certification
• Working knowledge of MOT operations
• High school diploma / GED

• Pass initial drug screening & background check
• Maintain company standards post‑employment for background checks, criminal record, driving record and controlled substance/drug testing, as required
• Communicate clearly both written and verbally
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
• Maintain proper safety equipment required for each job
• Capable of working individually and as a team with other employees
• Adjust to changing work schedule and work overtime
• Work safely outdoors and under adverse environmental and weather conditions
• Frequently lift at least 50 pounds; manual labor may be required
• Operate hand / power tools
• Work from elevated platforms, ladders or truck beds
