The CRM Administrator & Data Strategy Manager for the WSU Foundation is a hands‑on role that will directly administer, manage, and oversee the day‑to‑day operations of and strategy for the University Advancement CRM (Constituent Relationship Management) system, in partnership with the Director of Advancement Records and Data Strategy and unit AVP. You will work closely with WSU Advancement (WSU Foundation & Alumni Association), as well as fundraising departments across the WSU System (6 campuses).
In this role, you will collaborate and partner with cross‑functional leaders, colleges, units, and departments to continually develop and expand integrated, system‑wide CRM strategic plans in support of University Advancement philanthropic initiatives. You will be accountable for working to maximize the effectiveness of the CRM, improve the advancement and donor experience, and assist in achieving cohesive department and unit goals across the WSU system.
You’ll lead discussions with key partners to identify areas of optimization in the CRM; develop solutions to address their business needs via mass imports of data; and create new custom fields, workflows, business rules, views, and dashboards. You’ll build test scripts, coordinate UAT processes, develop communication of the proposed changes, and be responsible for rolling out any enhancements. You’ll also be responsible for troubleshooting identified bugs, leading routine system upgrades, and working on large‑scale projects to optimize the CRM and data structure.
You will also have the opportunity to design and support integration of data across the WSU system, with a focus on WSU Advancement’s strategic plan. You will re‑engineer the CRM core strategies on an on‑going basis to achieve specific, ambitious goals and to position WSU Advancement for the next level of long‑term success in continuing to transform processes, appropriately increase access, and strategically support the overall WSU Advancement communities.
In this position, you will lead the work of assigned cross‑functional teams, provide change leadership that improves CRM system practices and collaboration, promote CRM best practices, and may lead CRM trainings.
Additional Information:This is a full‑time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime ineligible.
*This position is located in Pullman WA, and may be eligible for a remote or hybrid schedule*
Monthly Salary: $4,942.10 - $7,569.55 | Commensurate with experience and qualifications
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.
