Join the Lakeville Area Schools ISD 194 team as a Before and After School Child Care Assistant. Make a lasting impact on students while having fun. Enjoy arts and crafts, gym games, and hands‑on learning centers. You’ll engage students before and after school, leading educational activities and ensuring their safety and well‑being. You’ll also accompany students on field trips, creating unforgettable experiences.

• Supervising and engaging with large and small groups of children in settings such as classrooms, cafeterias, gyms, computer labs, playgrounds, and on field trips.
• Supporting children with a variety of needs.
• Overseeing students during transitions, breakfast, lunch, and snack times.
• Assisting the Kid Zone Instructor with preparing and implementing the daily curriculum and activities.
• Maintaining a safe and welcoming environment by setting up, cleaning, and storing supplies and equipment.

• Minimum age 18, high school diploma.
• Training or experience working with children in group and supervisory settings.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Basic academic competencies to provide tutorial support when needed.

• $17.35 – $21.13 per hour.
• Paid time off, 12 paid holidays per year.
• Benefits available for employees working 30 hours per week.

• Lakeview Elementary, 7:00 am – 9:30 am and 3:00 pm – 5:30 pm
• Lake Marion/Oak Hills Elementary, 7:00 am – 10:00 am and 3:00 pm – 5:30 pm
• Cherry View Elementary, 7:00 am – 10:00 am
• Eastview Elementary, 7:00 am – 10:00 am
• Float, 30–40 hours per week, varying hours per day.
