Join Vivie as a Resident Assistant for part‑time evening shifts at Highview Hills. The role hours are 5 pm–9 pm, including weekends, with a competitive hourly rate of $17.40–$23.65 based on experience and qualifications. Responsibilities- Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, and mobility.
- Support residents with meals, restorative care, and life skills, respecting their preferences.
- Encourage residents to engage in social, recreational, and wellness activities to enhance their quality of life.
- Maintain a clean and comfortable environment through housekeeping, laundry, and organization of resident spaces.
- Prepare, store, and serve meals, beverages, and snacks while promoting a positive dining experience.
- Monitor and report any changes in residents’ health or emotional well‑being to nursing staff.
- Welcome new residents and help them transition smoothly into their new home.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and ensure exceptional care.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Clear and compassionate communication abilities.
- A commitment to serving with excellence and integrity.
- Previous experience as a caregiver, personal care assistant, or similar role is preferred but not required.
- Critical thinking, problem‑solving, and interpersonal effectiveness.
- Minnesota or Wisconsin CNA certification (preferred and may be required for some levels of assisted living).
- Ability to pass a state‑required background study.
- Physical ability to perform the duties required by the position.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, residents, and visitors.
