Overview
Club Manager at Com For Care Home Care (Raleigh, NC).
Reports to:
District Manager. Status:
Full Time/Supervisor/Exempt/Non-Exempt.
Responsible for oversight of gym operations to ensure positive member experience and a financially successful club.
Responsibilities- Recruit, hire, train, schedule and supervise team members.
- Member service oversight to ensure all team members provide a great customer service experience.
- Front desk duties: greeting members, gym tours, handling member service issues/questions, etc.
- Provide support for team members and club members.
- Create and maintain a positive image for the club.
- Coach and counsel performance to meet company standards.
- Ensure prompt opening/closing of gym.
- Ensure staff are aware of and trained on current marketing promotions.
- Finish manager portion of onboarding, in Paycom, for all new hires.
- Ensure the club is open and staffed during all hours of business.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Responsible for ordering supplies and tracking inventory.
- Customer service: communicate and interact with customers to exceed expectations.
- Listening, problem solving, diplomacy, and effective communication with staff and departments.
- Recruit, hire, train, schedule and supervise team members.
- Member service oversight to provide a high-quality customer experience.
- Front desk involvement: greeting members, gym tours, resolving inquiries.
- Support for team members and club members.
- Maintain a positive club image.
- Coaching and counseling performance to meet standards.
- Open/close gym promptly.
- Train staff on marketing promotions.
- Complete onboarding for new hires in Paycom.
- Maintain club staffing during all business hours.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Order supplies and manage inventory.
- Honesty and good work ethic
- At least 1 year of equivalent managerial experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Standing and walking at least 75% of the shift
- Talking in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on occasion
