Production Operator I - Stamping Department (2nd Shift) with 15% Differential
Join BTD Manufacturing as a Production Operator in the Stamping Department on the 2nd shift. BTD is a fast‑growing metalworking company that custom‑manufactures metal parts for top global brands.

Responsibilities- Read and understand simple blueprints and sketches.
- Manufacture parts to blueprints or sketches using Operator Inspection Instructions (OII).
- Inspect parts with tools such as tape measure, caliper, micrometer, and protractor, documenting findings.
- Return pattern, check fixture, and documentation to proper location after production.
- Stack parts, clean machines, and perform other assigned duties.
- Operate stamping presses, milling machines, CNC machines, spot welders, turret and rivet machines as instructed.
- Enter time/payroll and job information using software programs.
- Follow the Daily Maintenance/Safety Checklist for operated equipment and maintain a clean, safe work area.
- High school diploma or equivalent; minimum 18 years of age.
- Pass a math, measurement, or blueprint test with 85% or better.
- Recent mechanical and shop experience; knowledge of production equipment, materials, methods, and safety requirements.
- Ability to follow routine oral and written instructions and work effectively with others.
- Average math skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, lift up to 50 lb, and use hands, fingers, and arms for tasks described.
Occasional lifting of up to 50 lb; repetitive use of hands, fingers, arms; exposure to weather; moderate noise level. Reasonable accommodations available.
Compensation$20.65 – $28.89 per hour (OTC4). This range is presented in compliance with state and local regulations. Additional compensation may include bonuses, health benefits, vacation, 401(K) match, etc.
