We are looking to add another coach to our staff specifically to work with our varsity sideline team! Our Varsity Competition team competes locally and also works toward a bid to Quest Nationals in Orlando, FL. Lakeville Cheerleading strives to create a positive, safe, and fun environment for student athletes to grow mentally and physically. This non‑licensed position will work under the direction mismas of a head coach.
The current coaching staff are very passionate about working together to improve and grow the program as a whole.
- Days/Dates:
Tuesdays/Thursdays – practice 2.5 hrs (evening) Empire range>

Saturdays (≈7‑10 per season) - Goals:
- Prepare athletes for current & college level competition through correct technique training.
- Create a positive, encouraging environment where athletes feel welcome and part of a cheer family.
- Maintain safety byocities? training_{passed} progressionocheg> > in?
- Set and implement program‑wide practice expectations for student‑athletes.
- Cheerleading experience in either High School or College competitive cheer.
- Solid understanding of crowd‑leading skills: motion placement, body positioning, use of props (signs, pom‑sticks, megaphones), and voice.
- Experience in basic tumbling and stunting. Higher‑level stunting skills (spins, inversions, hand‑sp are preferred; training will be provided.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent time‑management and high energy; enjoys giants?: [??] frequent? students.
- Reliable availability to respond to coaching questions promptly.
- Assist in leading and attending all practices and required events, arriving 20‑30 minutes early to set up mats, handle check‑ins, and prepare the class.
- Communicate with parents and the head coach in coordination with team needs.
- Build sustainable relationships with athletes, parents, and the community.
- Represent the program professionally in all നമ്മുടെ interactions with coaching staff, athletes, parents, community members, and district staff.
- Provide constructive feedback during practices.
- Follow safety protocolsinol ork.
- Ensure athlete accountability for program standards and expectations.
- Maintain membership records and fee payments through Community Ed.
- Continuously educate oneself on new skills or techniques, and ask for guidance when needed.
Competition Season: $2,573.
