Job SummaryThe Warehouse Associate I ensures safe, accurate, and efficient movement of goods throughout the distribution center. Tasks are performed in one or more areas of the warehouse including order pulling, packing & shipping, receiving, inventory control, and general housekeeping.
Responsibilities- Use an RF scanner to pick inventory for customer order fulfillment.
- Move completed or partially completed orders and carts to the next processing area.
- Visually inspect and alert supervisors of potentially problematic inventory conditions.
- Scan and verify pulled items are correct for shipment.
- Apply appropriate packaging materials to minimize spoilage or damage.
- Validate lot/batch numbers, quantities, dosages, strengths, and sizes.
- Print and apply shipping labels and move packages to carrier staging area.
- Receive inventory off purchase orders or ASNs and perform bin counts.
- Consolidate eligible inventory and locations to use space efficiently.
- Perform inventory putaways and investigate misplaced items.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and obstruction‑free work environment.
- Perform housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, sorting, and emptying recycling bins.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 3 months similar warehouse/distribution experience.
- Forklift certified or ability to become certified.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Read and interpret safety rules, policies, and procedural manuals.
- Basic computer skills and ability to operate a Windows‑based computer.
- Self‑motivated, works independently, and problem solves.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Perform basic arithmetic without a calculator.
- Fast‑paced work environment; regular interaction with team.
- Vision requirements: close, distance, peripheral, depth perception.
- Repetitive motion: reaching, grasping, pushing, pulling, carrying.
- Lift up to 20 lb routinely, up to 70 lb frequently, up to 100 lb occasionally.
- Climb ladders/stairs, balance, stand/walk on concrete floor for extended periods.
- Bending, twisting, kneeling, crouching.
- Work long hours as needed.
- Use hands for keyboard regularly.
