Overview
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality nuclear medicine, PET, and theranostic procedures, maintain imaging equipment, ensure patient and radiation safety, and collaborate effectively with colleagues and medical staff.

Key Responsibilities- Quality Assurance:
Perform nuclear medicine procedures (planar, SPECT, SPECT/CT) following established protocols. - Quality Assurance:
Evaluate imaging quality and maintain equipment through routine quality control (Q.C.) checks. - Quality Assurance:
Work with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal operational capabilities. - Patient Care & Safety:
Communicate with patients to ensure correct exams, explain procedures, and establish rapport. - Patient Care & Safety:
Position patients correctly and use immobilization devices as needed. - Patient Care & Safety:
Adhere to infection-control and aseptic techniques. - Radiation Safety:
Safeguard patients and team members by following all radiation safety policies and protocols. - Radiation Safety:
Verify the correct radiopharmaceutical and screen patients for pregnancy as appropriate. - Radiation Safety:
Administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and educate patients on radiation safety. - Radiation Safety:
Follow proper radiation disposal guidelines. - Collaboration & Operational Support:
Assist with inventory management, ordering radiopharmaceuticals, and quality control. - Collaboration & Operational Support:
Work closely with colleagues, nursing staff, and radiologists. - Collaboration & Operational Support:
Ensure accurate transfer of patient images to PACS for clinical review and dictation. - Professional Responsibilities:
Observe patient conditions and communicate changes to medical teams. - Professional Responsibilities:
Provide services across all age groups, from newborn to geriatric patients. - Professional Responsibilities:
Train and mentor new team members and students. - Professional Responsibilities:
Maintain knowledge of current procedures, regulations, and best practices. - Professional Responsibilities:
Use electronic systems such as PACS, EMR, modality worklists, and Microsoft Office. - Professional Responsibilities:
Take a call if required.
- ARRT-Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT-N) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT).
- Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures, equipment, and radiation safety.
- Excellent communication, patient care, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism under stress.
- Nuclear medicine imaging (planar, SPECT, SPECT/CT)
- PET and theranostic procedures
- Radiation safety and radiopharmaceutical administration
- Quality assurance and equipment maintenance
