Full Time, 36 hrs. per week | Shift: Night Shift (7pm-7am, self-scheduling with rotating weekends) | Level: IV (4 trauma center, but we practice as Level III) | Patient Ratio: 4:1

JOB SUMMARY

Registered Nurse (RN) is a licensed professional who coordinates patient care delivery by the health care team using the BSWH nursing professional practice model. The RN assesses the patient, identifies nursing diagnoses based on responses to health problems, develops and implements an individualized plan of care, and evaluates the patient’s response. The RN promotes safe passage for patients by using knowledge of patient needs and the healthcare environment to assist patients to transition through the healthcare encounter without any preventable complications or delays.

RN job is used for RNs in hospital inpatient and outpatient departments with 24X7 staffing, including on-call staffing on the off shifts.

THE ROLE

Conducts accurate clinical assessments, prioritizes patient and family needs, and implements and evaluates the nursing plan of care.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education:

    Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Major:
    Nursing.
  • Experience:

    Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
  • Certification/License:
    Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire.
