Member Sales Support - Relationship Specialist II

Responsibilities- Consult with members to identify needs and offer solutions, following up on pending transactions.
- Hold meaningful conversations with members in person or over the phone.
- Guide members to the appropriate resolution or assist directly.
- Generate new accounts, sub‑shares, and origin and process loan applications.
- Process cash receipts and disbursements and manage plastic card services.
- Handle account maintenance: issuing/re‑pinning ATM/debit cards, address and name changes, updating joint owners or beneficiaries, closing accounts, processing deceased accounts, notary services, and issuing cashier’s checks.
- Recommend and refer relevant products such as Mortgage, Investment Services, and Auto Land based on member conversations.
- Maintain branch balance, including the TCR.
- Identify and report suspicious activity or potential fraud.
- Complete all required training and compliance modules.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities and credit union events (e.g., car sales, open house, enrollments).
- Represent the credit union positively and professionally, demonstrating respect and confidentiality with member information.
- Support team members and treat all individuals with respect.
- Complete other related duties as assigned.
- 1 year of experience in a similar role with loan experience and a track record of meeting service and performance goals.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and NCUA regulations (BSA, Regulation CC, Regulation D, Regulation
E). - Comprehensive understanding of deposit account products and services.
- Working knowledge of loan products and the Loans PQ system.
- Proven ability to generate business.
- Empathetic, caring nature with genuine interest in helping members.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle frequent interruptions.
- Proficiency with PC operations and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Excellent verbal, written, and problem‑solving communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- 18 months of experience, including prior loan work and current performance achievement.
- Notary authority.
- Successful completion of all compliance coursework.
- NMLS registered.
- Notary preferred.
- Southern California:
Minimum $20.56
• Mid $25.70
• Maximum $30.84.
