Your Role on the TeamPosition Summary:
Under direct supervision of the Director and Manager of Facility Services, the Facility Services Office Coordinator provides clerical services, assists in inter-office activities, coordinates and attends monthly meetings and assists in collection of data for the safety program. Assists with coordination of scheduling and acquisition of proposals for Facility and Medical Building office refurbishment. Assists with coordinating Corrective and Preventive Maintenance of all equipment and systems.
Assists in coordination of phone system repairs requests. Maintains inventory and billing of pagers, cell phones and any other wireless communication devices. Maintains and prepares invoicing/ billing for phone system related bills for the Director and Assistant Director of Facility Services. Supervises Vendors as well as in-house personnel in regards of communication related repairs and maintenance. Will travel within different facilities to assist Director of Facility Services with a variety of projects and/or tasks as assigned while ensuring Facility Services position has adequate coverage.

Required Qualifications:
- Experience in Purchasing, Record keeping and Accounting.
- 6 months clerical/customer service experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
- AA degree a business or accounting related field.
- Computer proficiency
- Knowledge in MS Office, Word, Excel, Access, etc.
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
Physical Requirements:
Must have visual and auditory acuity necessary for performing all function of the position. Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Occasional stooping, bending for filing. Frequent lifting of boxes, parts, etc. up to 20 pounds. Majority of the position is sitting, approximately 60%, and standing 40%. Sufficient manual dexterity for performing functions related to use of typewriter and computer.
