Base pay range: $92,560.00/yr - $/yr (Exact pay will be based on your skills and experience).
Job SummaryThe Senior Human Resources Generalist contributes to and supports the delivery of a cohesive talent strategy and vision for this team, continuously iterating and evolving our talent practices. The position covers recruitment, employee relations, performance management, disciplinary action, and organizational development. It does not have direct reports but may provide coaching and direction to HR staff and FMB leadership, guiding management on employee relations.
EssentialDuties
- Design and implement advanced hiring methodologies, leveraging creative sourcing strategies, analytics, and innovative recruitment technologies.
- Manage internal and external job postings through the recruitment module and maintain communication with hiring managers.
- Review resumes, conduct pre‑screening interviews, and perform in‑person or virtual interviews as required.
- Approve and/or obtain approval for terms of hire and communicate status with candidates.
- Responsible for the hiring and oversight of reserve staff.
- Actively recruit for bank positions, conduct resume searches, and post in key media platforms.
- Interact with recruiting firms, as needed.
- Attend recruiting events virtually or onsite (career/job fairs or other events).
- Function as a trusted resource for employees and managers on HR‑related matters.
- Address employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts with fairness and consistency.
- Support the performance management process, including coaching, feedback, and reviews.
- Partner closely with the CHRO and the Business Partner Manager to coordinate support for first‑line managers and employees regarding policies, people processes, and complex people issues.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with senior leadership and hiring managers, aligning recruitment efforts with business objectives.
- Lead and assist management with various research projects and/or special projects:
- Maintain compliance with federal and state employment regulations.
- Initiate, track, and assist with annual performance appraisals and bonus/incentive programs.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state regulations, and bank policy.
- Maintain a current knowledge of HR practices through industry literature and seminars.
- Perform other related duties as assigned and required.
- Comply with all State and Federal Banking regulatory requirements, including BSA, Anti‑Money Laundering OFAC, CIP, Financial Elder Abuse Reporting, Sexual Harassment, Information Security and privacy requirements.

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Preferred candidate should have 6‑10 years of progressive HR experience
- PHR/PHR‑CA Certification preferred
As a part of the bank’s internal control systems, employees holding sensitive positions are required to be absent from their duties for a minimum of two consecutive weeks each year.
