American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a night-shift assignment requiring a CA RN license, EPIC experience, and at least 1 year of telemetry/acute care nursing experience.

• Telemetry/PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown unit setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00-07:30
• Cardiac monitoring with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Use of Rapid Response/Code teams for emergency response
• IV therapy, phlebotomy, blood product administration, and central/peripheral line care
• Management of cardiac drips (no titration required)
• Respiratory care including nasal cannula and oxygen administration
• Isolation precautions and PPE use required
• EPIC EMR experience required

• Active CA RN license required in-hand at time of application (EMSA not accepted)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required in-hand
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care nursing experience required
• Minimum 1 year of telemetry/specialty experience within the last 2 years required
• EPIC EMR experience required and must be noted in work history
• Two supervisor references required
• Prior travel nursing experience typically required

• First-time travelers may be considered per position exceptions
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• Previous permanent staff must have been separated for at least 1 year to return as a traveler
• No RTO permitted within the first two weeks of the assignment, with a maximum of 7 days RTO per 13-week contract highly preferred
• RTO requests must be confirmed and submitted at the time of application
• Manager interview may or may not be conducted prior to placement
