Job OverviewAs a Merchandising Colleague – also known as a Front of House Colleague – you’ll play a critical role in delivering a seamless, inspiring in‑store experience. You are responsible for executing merchandise movement and placement strategies, enhancing visual appeal, maintaining well‑organized displays, and ensuring pricing and promotional signage are accurate and up‑to‑date. Your detail orientation and operational excellence directly impact customers’ experience.
You’ll be a visible, welcoming presence on the floor, greeting customers with genuine hospitality and offering assistance so they feel seen, supported, and valued.
Collaboration is key. You work closely with colleagues across departments to meet shared goals, support sales, and contribute to a culture of hospitality, positivity, and making every customer feel welcome.
How our Merchandising Colleagues spend their day…Our colleagues begin each day energized, wearing their name badge with pride, greeting teammates calmly, and ensuring the sales floor is clean, organized, and prepared for customers. They support visual merchandising by updating mannequins, resetting floor layouts, and aligning presentation with company directives to set the tone of an impactful shopping experience.
On the floor, they focus on the customer—offering a warm welcome, making eye contact, creating friendly conversations, actively listening to needs, and providing thoughtful assistance to develop lasting relationships.
Major emphasis is placed on keeping the space shoppable by recovering the floor and fitting rooms, updating signs and pricing, replenishing merchandise, and supporting needed merchandise moves. They finish strong by sharing Loyalty program benefits, making sure customers have everything they need, and ending with a sincere thank‑you.They collaborate with the team to tie up loose ends—reorganizing the department, restocking merchandise, and preparing the space for a successful tomorrow.
