Pinkard Construction, a leading general contractor in Colorado, is hiring an Assistant Project Manager to support project and contract administration and help generate prospective project leads.
Assistant Project ManagerReporting to the Construction Manager, the Assistant Project Manager assists the Project Manager with project and contract administration and is actively involved in prospective project lead generation.
Minimum Requirements- Knows and can perform the duties of Project Engineer and Field Superintendent
- Minimum of five years' experience in commercial construction within the United States
- At least two years of Project Engineer experience in commercial construction within the United States
- OSHA 30‑hour certified at least every 3 years
- Assist the Project Manager with project and contract administration.
- Prioritize safety at all times and perform regular jobsite safety audits.
- Read and understand all construction and contract documents, including owner contract agreements, plans and specifications, and subcontractor agreements.
- Assist with cost control, including managing cost accounting, budgets, and cost‑to‑complete projections.
- Assist with review and field verification of billed amounts and processing of subcontractor applications for payment.
- Assist with subcontractor scope analysis, negotiation, and procurement of subcontracts.
- Perform complex project engineering responsibilities when needed.
- Prepare for and obtain LEED™ accreditation.
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act the salary range for this position is $95,000 - $142,500 + Profit Sharing
. Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components including, but not limited to, relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job‑related factors permitted by law.
